Free home visit
We come to your home, measure up and look at surfaces, damp, electrics and anything else that affects the job. You get straight answers about what needs doing and in what order.
Written quote
You get a quote that shows labour, materials and who carries out each part. The labour cost is listed separately, so you can see what the ROT deduction (ROT-avdrag) does to the price.

Three rules that apply to almost every building job at home

The ROT deduction is 30 per cent
With the ROT deduction (ROT-avdrag) you can deduct 30 per cent of the labour cost, up to SEK 50,000 per person per year. Materials and travel do not qualify. You must own the home, and the company must have F-skatt. We take the amount off the invoice and claim the rest from Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency).
The law protects you as a customer
The Consumer Services Act (konsumenttjänstlagen) requires the work to be done in a professional manner. If you have been given an approximate price, the final price may not be more than 15 per cent higher. You can complain about faults in work on buildings for up to ten years. That is why price and scope should be in writing.
Electrics need a registered company
Electrical installations in the home must be carried out by an electrical installation company registered with Elsäkerhetsverket (the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority). You can check the company yourself in the Kolla elföretaget service. When your job includes electrics we bring in such a company, and the quote says which one.

Nothing. The home visit is free throughout Stockholm County, and so is the quote. We look at the site, measure up and go through what you want done. You are not committed to anything until you have accepted a written quote.
We do carpentry, partition walls, decks and timber decking, painting, filling, wallpapering, floor laying and interior demolition. Electrics, water and drainage, waterproofing in wet rooms, roofing and larger groundworks are carried out by partners with the right authorisation. We coordinate the work, and the quote says who carries out each part.
Throughout the county. We are based in Botkyrka and take jobs in the City of Stockholm, the southern and northern suburbs, Södertälje, Nacka, Värmdö, Täby, Norrtälje, Nynäshamn and the other municipalities in the county. The home visit costs just as little everywhere, which is nothing.
You pay the invoice minus the deduction, and we claim the rest from Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency). The deduction is 30 per cent of the labour cost, up to SEK 50,000 per person per year. Materials and travel do not qualify. You need to own the home. In the quote we list the labour cost separately so you can see what you actually pay.
We usually give a price in a written quote, so you know the cost before we start. Paying for time and materials can be agreed when the job is hard to assess in advance, for example when there may be hidden damage behind a wall. The quote says which applies.
It depends on what you are going to do and where you live. New building permit rules have applied since 1 December 2025, and more work on one- and two-dwelling houses is exempt than before. Changes to load-bearing parts, ventilation, water and drainage may require a notification to the municipality. We go through what applies at the home visit, but it is always the municipal building committee (byggnadsnämnden) that decides.
